This weekend was snow. Was Halloween. Was a Netflix marathon of the Walking Dead. Was meeting MacGregor Card for the first time (shame on me). Was a need to thank Debrah Morkun and Kim Gek Lin Short for hosting a lovely snowy evening reading at Brickbat Books. Was seeing and hearing Bruce Covey and Natalie Lyalin (reacquainting me with my Georgia roots… well, not exactly roots–tendrils?–in preparation for this week’s trip). Was talking to Ryan Eckes about occupying as well as other things. Was just good. Was the end of the end of October. Or, Ocsnowber–as the boys have now voted it.
